New Product Updates

Sep 20, 2016 by Kadir Türker Gülsoy

Team Routing Rules

  • You can now add multiple routing rules for a single team. You can also configure different alert based conditions and time restrictions for each routing rule.
  • You can configure any escalation or schedule of the team within team routing rules. You can also configure a routing rule not to notify anyone via selecting No One option.
  • When an alert is routed to a team (during alert creation or via Add Team action), the first matching routing rule will be used to determine which team schedule or escalation should be used to add recipients. If the matching rule routes the alert to No One, all team members will gain visibility to the alert but no one will be notified.
  • You can refer Teams for further information.

Team Segmentation

  • Integrations can now be assigned/restricted to particular teams. Team admins without account owner/admin rights can also create integrations for their teams.
  • An existing global integration, escalation or schedule can only be assigned to a particular team by an account owner/admin.
  • Any alert created via integrations that are assigned to a particular team are routed to the team that this integration is assigned to. In other words, a team restricted integration can not have any recipient or any team other than the assigned team to route the alert.
  • Team restricted integrations can execute an alert action only if the alert is visible to the team that the integration is assigned to.
  • A team restricted API integration can only access the following API domains with the following restrictions:
  • Alert API
  • Team API: Team should be the owner of integration.
  • Escalation API: Escalation should be restricted to the same team with the integration that sends the request.
  • Schedule API: Schedule should be restricted to the same team with the integration that sends the request.
  • Schedule Override API: Schedule should be restricted to the same team with the integration that sends the request.
  • Integration API: Target integration should be restricted to the same team with the integration that sends the request.
  • An outgoing team-restricted integration can not send callbacks for an alert that is not visible to the team that the integrations is assigned to.
  • You can refer Team Segmentation for further information.
