As an OpsGenie Integration and Solutions Engineer, your mandate will be to drive customer adoption of our solution while ensuring they have a positive user experience. You will need to leverage, and routinely expand upon, your own technical expertise in order to be able to hold your own among product experts and techies at the customer, as well as within OpsGenie.

Responsibilities:

  • When needed, work with both Customers and OpsGenie Core Engineering to develop, configure, document and release New Integrations, Script extensions/enhancements, etc.
  • Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on OpsGenie (features, integrations, etc.)
  • Contribute to product enhancements and supporting materials - including knowledge base articles, screencasts, etc.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with our customers by becoming an SME in their domains covering IT operations and DevOps
  • Work directly with customers to identify, track, prioritize and resolve their issues and questions, while supporting multiple customers.
  • Provide support through multiple channels - primarily email and chat; but also including phone and web conferences as necessary
  • Monitor and escalate issues as needed to the Engineering team, becoming the liaison between engineering and the customer
  • Work with customers to ensure they are leveraging the solution effectively and finding value in our service.
